I am a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts, and licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy. By performing a thorough assessment of the client’s health history and current physical functions, my goal is to work closely with you and stay committed to a flexible treatment plan that would deliver the best and long lasting results. I strongly believe that people strive to be in the best health possible and that the body has the innate capability to heal itself. To accomplish the best healing results, my intent is to provide all clients with a balanced program that would treat and heal the body as a whole, in able to gain true balance. My treatment style includes Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Tigger Point Therapy, Sorts Massage, Chair Massage, Pre- and Perinatal assage, Thai Yoga Massage and integrated bodywork.  My portfolio also includes Certification in Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy, Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, vocal and theatre arts background, an avid crafter, amateur photography, and an all-around outdoor enthusiast.

"My back, shoulders and neck was the target of the Holiday and work stress. I had severe pain in my neck and middle back that was starting to affect my everyday life. I had 1 visit with Marie and I walked out a new person. My experience form the moment I walked in to when I left was the highest of costumer service I have experienced in a long time. Thank you!" - Lisa, Clackamas
"Maria is definitely blessed with a healer's touch! She knew exactly where the cause of my pain originated from and did her magic to get rid of it! I have an active lifestyle - from running, cycling, and mountain hiking. A college friend suggested that I see her after running a half-marathon race, which left me with so much pain in my low back and both legs that I could barely move! In the past, it would take at least a week before I could fully run again. After one session with Maria, I was back pounding the pavement in a couple of days! That's amazing! Now, I see her before and after a strenuous event. If you're an active athlete, I highly recommend an ongoing session with Maria!" - Steve, Portland

I am a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts and licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy. Every person is unique so every session is tailored to the individual.  whether they prefer powerful deep tissue treatment or light stress reducing therapy. My approach to therapeutic massage is based on the client's needs, whether for focus work relating to auto, sports and work injuries, increasing range of motion, improving optimum athletic performance, managing pain, or general stress reduction. I am passionate about helping individuals reach their maximum potential in daily life and athletic endeavors, regardless of age. My sessions are guided by the client's health history, current issue, and ultimate expectations. My modalities include Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point/Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, and Chair Massage. I have  a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Portland, am an avid golfer who enjoys helping clients add distance to their drives and stamina to their game. An outdoor enthusiast, my family and I love to spend our free time camping in the Oregon Cascades, Montana, and the Oregon Coast.

"I made an appointment with John and was pleased to get in so quickly. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. John listened carefully to my needs and didn't rush through the session. I am more able to move about without pain and will definitely follow up with him." - Kathie, Milwaukie
"I work in front of a computer hours at a time, so my neck and shoulders always are always tight. My massage from John got rid of the tension I've had on my neck and shoulders for the past two weeks. He also gave me tips on how to stretch and keep my muscles from tightening up. One of the best massages I've had!" - Kristina, Milwaukie
"My daughter bought me a one hour massage gift certificate for my birthday. I've always had low back pain and pain around my knees that sometimes it's hard for me to get around. After my massage from John, I could move freely with very little or no pain at all. It even lasted days after my massage. I will definitely schedule more regular massages from John." - Nick, Portland
_"I'm an avid gym rat and spend about 5 days a week training. I noticed that my range of motion and stretching ability haven't been what it used to be over the last couple years. After seeing John and Maria every week I not only have a wider range of motion (which helps with my lifting form) but I can stretch further, longer and I've noticed my recover time after lifting is shorter and I'm a lot less sore. Thanks guys!" - Jon, Clackamas
